Trained for

Complexity

Built for Longevity

Dr. Mark Matthew Neimat, MD is a Board-Certified physician in Internal Medicine with 15 years of experience spanning both inpatient and outpatient medical care. He is a graduate of The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai — one of the nation's premier academic medical centers — where he trained in high-volume, high-complexity environments that demand diagnostic precision and clinical breadth.

He holds additional training in point-of-care ultrasound and wilderness medicine, and is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. His clinical interests include healthspan, longevity medicine, functional medicine, and athletic performance.

After years practicing hospital medicine, Dr. Neimat grew increasingly focused on what he was watching unfold upstream of the hospital: preventable metabolic disease developing silently, without intervention, for a decade before patients arrived in crisis. He founded Alpenglow Health to change that trajectory — building a practice structured around early intervention, continuous monitoring, and the kind of physician-patient relationship that makes long-term health change actually possible.

He has lived in Jackson, Wyoming for over a decade. He skis the Tetons backcountry, trail runs in summer, and mountain bikes in fall. He understands at a personal level what physical capability means to people who have built their lives around the mountains — and what losing it costs.

Clinical Philosophy

Why a limited practice.

Alpenglow Health accepts fewer than 50 members. That number is not a marketing constraint — it's a clinical one. Meaningful medicine requires time; time to review data between visits, time to think carefully before prescribing, time to build the kind of longitudinal understanding of a patient that makes pattern recognition possible.

When a practice sees 2,000 patients, that time and attention disappears. Alpenglow Health built differently, on purpose.

Dr. Neimat collaborates with each patient to develop a tailored health and wellness plan that aligns with their unique biology and long term goals.

Utilizing advanced physiologic profiling and integrating the latest research, Dr. Neimat proactively addresses the root causes of aging and disease rather than reactive management.

He is committed to education and his approach empowers patients to make informed decisions about nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management, fostering a happier, more vibrant life.
